Project Management
A cohesive and structured rollout plan is fundamental to any successful Retail Pro implementation. Retail IT has installed Retail Pro in over 500 stores nationwide and would always recommend spending time planning your new system as precisely as possible. Our experienced project managers will assess the flow of information
throughout the various departments and locations of your company and set up Retail pro to be sensitive to these requirements. Working with key members of your team, we are able to define your retail processes and set up Retail Pro around these findings. Once the project meetings are complete, we will submit a project plan that clearly defines how Retail Pro will operate in your business.
The project plan will lay out the tasks that the Training, Technical, Helpdesk and Development teams will need to carry out as well as the dates at which certain milestones will need to be achieved in order to meet the agreed installation date. The above-mentioned teams are all essential to successful installations. Once the project plan is agreed to we will build your Retail Pro system in our tech lab at our offices according to specification. Once tested, the software will be provided to our training team to install for training.
Training can take place in our training centre in Wimbledon, at your offices or even at your stores. We will always train your users on the test version of your set up. This is important because Retail Pro is highly customisable and some Retail Pro systems will have been customised by our technicians and developers to match specific requirements. Once the training has been completed, we gather any user feedback and discuss this at he next project meeting. Any essential changes can be made if required before installation.
